Every year Ethical Traveler publishes its list of the 10 best Ethical Destinations.

Ethical Traveler is a non-profit organization that seeks the use of tourism to protect human rights and the environment. Each year it examines developing countries focusing on the following general categories: environmental protection, social welfare, human rights and animal welfare.

It analyzes not only the current state of each country but its evolution, to take into account those countries that actively work to improve the state of people, their government and the environment.
