Top 5 most sustainable destinations of 2018

If you were curious to know which are the most sustainable destinations, the University and Columbia in collaboration with the World Economic Forum solves it. In 2018 they have carried out a study of environmental performance (EPI or enviromental performance index) that classifies 180 countries in 24 performance indicators, in ten categories of topics that cover environmental health and the vitality of the ecosystem.

European countries lead the ranking of countries in environmental performance occupying the top 5 positions. Switzerland is the leader among all of them. Its highest rating reflects a strong performance in most of the issues but especially in Climate and Energy and Air Pollution.
